GUSDA Celebrates 30 Years of Community Impact!

This year marks a historic milestone for the Guyana UK Social Development Association (GUSDA) as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary! 🎊

Originally founded in 1995 as the Charity Ball Committee, our organization has evolved significantly over the years. Later known as the Guyana UK Sports Development Association, our focus was primarily on sports development. However, in April 2017, we expanded our vision to address a wider range of social development issues, leading to our rebranding as GUSDA.

Over the past three decades, GUSDA has been at the heart of the UK Guyanese community, supporting charitable initiatives, cultural preservation, education, humanitarian aid, and social development projects—both in the UK and Guyana. From our annual fundraising events such as the Guyana Family Sports & Fun Day and Guyanese Folk Festival to our philanthropic contributions supporting education, disaster relief, and community upliftment, we remain committed to making a difference.

As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, we invite you to join us in commemorating 30 years of service, culture, and community empowerment. Stay tuned for special anniversary events throughout the year, and let’s continue building a legacy of impact together!
