The Guyana UK Social Development Association (GUSDA) is proud to announce the inaugural TC Baynes Dominoes Shield Tournament, which will take place at the Guyana Family Sports & Fun Day on Sunday, 27th July 2025, at Croydon Sports Arena, London.
This special event honours the legacy of the late TC Baynes, a beloved figure within the Guyanese community in the UK, known for bringing people together through his infectious love of dominoes. His signature presence at GUSDA events and other community gatherings was always marked by spirited banter, laughter, and the unmistakable sound of “bones” slamming in celebration of victory.
The TC Baynes Shield is a tribute to his enduring impact, and we are delighted that members of the Baynes family will be in attendance to present the trophy to the tournament’s first champion. The award ceremony will take place shortly after the conclusion of the final match.
