GUSDA rewards excellence at Clonbrook, Hope, and Ann’s Grove Primary Schools

The Guyana UK Social Development Association (GUSDA) has once again honoured top students from Clonbrook Primary, Hope Estate Primary, and Ann’s Grove Primary Schools in Guyana at the 4th Annual Award Ceremony organized by the Dochfour-Greenfield Harmony Group.

Since 2019, GUSDA has supported the celebration of academic achievements at the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) exams by donating gift vouchers to the top ten students. This year, the awards were presented by GUSDA's Associate Member and Guest Speaker, Dr. Saska Sertimer, and Secretary Coreen Carberry. Dr. Sertimer congratulated the students and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.

GUSDA’s Chair, Orin Alexander, emphasized the importance of investing in young people for Guyana's future. The Harmony Group Coordinator, Daphne Higgins, expressed deep gratitude for GUSDA’s ongoing support, highlighting the significant impact of the yearly book vouchers on the awardees [2021].
